In mid-2026, established franchise resales in Australia commonly list between $88,000 for mobile services and $520,000 for large-format fitness, typically at a discount to the all-in cost of opening a comparable new site once fit-out and ramp-up are counted — but with a goodwill premium built into the price.
A resale removes some of the risk of a greenfield build: the site exists, has trading history and often existing staff and customers. In return, the buyer pays for goodwill. Whether that trade-off is worth it depends entirely on the site's real numbers.
